A Markham woman thought what she considered bad service and bad food at a local restaurant could be remedied by slapping the restaurant manager in the face, police said.
And for doing that, the woman was charged with battery and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors, police said.
The thing here is that I can see both sides of this. I know and have known restaurant managers who desperately needed a few good backhands, and I have have known more than a few customers who deserved the same or worse. I wish that anytime people displeased me I could just slap the shit out of them without consequence. I think this needs to be a law.
I also like how they have her picture in the article, this lady will not be able to eat a spit-free meal in her state for a few years at least.
